Street died Sunday, March 29, 1998, in Benedictine Health Center. He was born in Eveleth on May 21, 1929, and attended
Eveleth High School until the 10th grade. He graduated in 1948 from Duluth Central
High School. He served for two years in the infantry during the Korean War.
He worked for Mobil service station before becoming a partner with his two
brothers at Duluth Auto Wrecking in 1956. The business closed in August of
1997 after 41 years. He was a member of Adas Israel Synagogue. His father, Ralph, died in April of 1997. Surviving are his wife of 40 years, Pearl; a son, Martin
(Barbara) of Edina, Minn.; a daughter, Ruth (Hayward) Wong of Minneapolis;
three brothers, Raymond (Barbara) and Milton of Duluth and Morris (Doris) of
St. Paul; a sister, Rosalyn (Jim) Bernstein of Edina; a granddaughter, Sophia
Miriam Munic; and devoted nieces and nephews. Service: 11 a.m. Wednesday in Jarvi-Dowd Chapel. Burial in
Adas Israel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Benedictine Health
Center, St. Mary's Hospice, or Adas Israel would be appreciated. Arrangements
